Concept

The Christian app Vocaris is primarily intended to help young people find a vocation and possible professions. Consisting of the three main categories “Prayer”, “Vocation” and “Commitment”, young people can take self-tests on personal skills and talents, or learn to make difficult decisions through prayers and suggestions. The Christian-religious aspects are presented in a theologically and pedagogically valuable way for children and young people, especially in relation to current topics such as environmental protection, humanity and self-realization.

The user is accompanied by St. Ignatius of Loyola, who explains how to use the various functions and provides additional suggestions on the respective topic.

About Vocaris

Vocaris was commissioned by the Office for Youth Pastoral Care of the German Bishops’ Conference (afj). The app was realized in cooperation with the partners “Zukunftswerkstatt” of the Jesuits in Frankfurt, the consulting agency “XPand Deutschland” and the Bonifatiuswerk der deutschen Katholiken.

The development was carried out by Tellux next GmbH and QM Game Consulting. The focus was on development, game design/concept and production.
