Concept

The app for the pilgrimage to Rome has everything young altar servers need for a fulfilling and safe stay. Because goRome! offers both an entertaining game part and a spiritually informative part. This gives the young people the opportunity to explore the city of Rome together with St. Tarcisius and solve exciting puzzles about pilgrimage and peace before the election period.

The app also contains information on pilgrimage churches and special places, greetings, a hymn section, interactive pilgrimage routes, prayer initiatives, networking opportunities and links to streaming the audience. Many countries or dioceses also have their own national and diocesan sections with lots of additional content and information.

Story

Guided by your mentor, St. Tarcisius, you have the chance to solve tricky puzzles, solve exciting tasks and search for a mysterious peace sign! Join altar boys from all over the world on an exploration tour through Rome.

The map function not only helps you find your pilgrim hotel, but also other pilgrims, highlights in Rome and even drinking water points! If you do get lost, the app will help you ask for directions in Italian. Or you can use the “Find friends” function to find like-minded people in your area so that you can enjoy the pilgrimage together.

You will also find prayers and impulses in three different time phases of the app for the pilgrimage to Rome. The multilingual basic and daily prayers give you the opportunity to either turn to God alone or pray together with new and old friends.
