Concept
The soapbox race is a colorful “endless runner” for the browser in 3D. Since the event of the 1st FC Deutsche Post could not take place during the pandemic, the digital version of the competitive event was created!
The game is about about staying long as possible to stay on the track as long as possible to to gain distance and collect coins. If there is an obstacle in the way, the player loses one of her three lives. Depending on the distance and coins collected, a high score is generated is generated, which can be compared with other players. A period of time is set for the competition, especially for special events, in order to reward the participants with possible prizes for the first three places.
The high success of the soapbox event should through this app celebrated be celebrated.
Soapboxes of the game
Each selectable soapbox was modeled on a real soapbox from the event. The 1st FC Deutsch Post has provided us with detailed photos which modeled and textured. It was important, that the level of detail preserved is retained in order to to be able to clearly recognize the soapbox. The result is something to be proud of!
